Our company, Teknik Arıtma, commissioned and delivered a drinking water production system in 2019 for a Bottled Drinking Water Factory located in North Africa, designed to produce drinking water from artesian well water with high salt content.

The first stage of the drinking water production system consists of Multimedia Filters, Activated Carbon, and dosing units.

The artesian well water with high salinity (20,000 µS/cm) is treated in a 2-stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) system to produce drinking water of source water quality (< 150 µS) and is then subjected to ozone treatment before being sent for bottling.

The designed 1st stage RO system operates with a 65% efficiency, producing 80 m3/h of product water, while the 2nd stage RO operates with a 90% efficiency, producing 70 m3/h of product water.

The production flow rate and the conductivity of the produced water remain consistent with the project values of 2019.
